Anyone Have Michael Heiser’s Dissertation?

I’m trying to facilitate Michael Heiser’s dissertation, “The Divine Council in Late Canonical and Non-Canonical Second Temple Jewish Literature,”  for use in my master’s thesis, but the only place I can seem to find it is in the University of Wisconsin – Madison library, and they ain’t sharin’ (at least not with someone in the UK, as far as I can tell). I’ve emailed Dr. Heiser to ask about it, but he’s said on his blog he can’t respond to email, so I don’t know if he’s read it or not. Does anyone out there know where I can get a copy?

  1. You can purchase a copy from Heiser himself here. It’s $20.

    • Ah, thanks Nick. As usual, my detective skills in this area prove themselves insufficient.

  2. If that doesn’t work, Michael’s a personal friend of mine — I’ll be glad to email him for you.

    • Good to know. Thanks Steve. $20 isn’t too steep. I just have to make sure my PayPal account is current, though.

  3. Well, I paid the $20 through Michael’s old blog, but it added $3 for shipping, and there are no instructions for downloading the PDF.

  4. Hmm… Peculiar. Am I to understand that you are going to receive a physical copy as well as have access to a PDF? If so that’s pretty cool. You might consider emailing Dr. Heiser and asking him how to go about downloading the file.

    • I’m gonna give that a shot and see if he gets back to me. He hasn’t responded yet to the email I sent last week.

  5. My email to Dr. Heiser bounced back. I don’t know how to get in touch with him. Perhaps Steve can help here.
