Following are all of the photos I have found of the Jordan Codices. They are of varying size and quality. Elkington has claimed the two longer and thinner codices are forgeries, but you can see clear relationships between some of the iconography on one of the two codices and on others. The rest, as far as I know, are claimed to be genuine by Elkington. Some are likely new to you, and some you’ll have seen many times. This adds up to around 38 over 40 distinct codices, which provides a pretty representative portion of the original hoard. I haven’t been able to look closely at all of them, either, so any observations you think are noteworthy are welcome. If anyone knows of any that I’ve left out, please let me know.

If you go to images.google.com and perform a search for “Jordan Codices” you will find several more photos that you do not have here, including close-ups of some which you do have that allow you to see greater detail.

Good job Dan.
With how you’ve laid things out, I think we’ve just found our first mass-produced specimen:
What you have labeled as XXV and XXXIII are identical and I assume are pictures of the same item. XXX, however, is *almost* identical. The component pieces overlap slightly different, it’s missing the last line on the bottom, and the rings are different.
Peace,
-Steve

Whoa. Don’t know how I missed that. I’ve deleted the lower quality photo. Thanks, Steve. Yes, XXV and XXX are almost identical, but not quite. I’ve been hoping to find time to go through the differences between the two. Good old Wayne Herschel has the two side by side, comparing the “seven stars celebrated with the Menorah”:

Thank you. I just wanted to make sure that you had as complete a collection as possible of the available images to accompany this blog entry . It is the only collection that is online as far as I know and could ultimately prove useful to others.

Daniel,
I believe you are right. There always were some fakes mixed with the original collection. Since then there have been more added, some to spike the whole story…. possibly out of fear of what they may reveal. Branding is everything in the game of religion and symbology is so powerful.
Having seen hundreds of photos and handled some of these first hand, I am convinced that the original collection was not a modern forgery. In 2009 there was nothing like it to copy from. Now there is and replicas or similar devices are starting to appear. Wait for more from Jordan Codices – you will be astounded – and I hope convinced since you are so fascinated by the subject.

Virtually all of these photos come from websites that posted them in 2009 at or near the time that the story broke. Many of them appear with articles connected to Elkington, such as newspaper interviews, etc… This includes those codices that have been discovered to have impressions of coins, and unintelligible text.
