Nick Norelli responds here to Doug Chaplin’s invitation to put your MP3 player on shuffle and list the first fifteen songs (artist and title) that come up. No editing or cheating. Sounds like fun. I have a pretty eclectic taste in music, and I think this is an interesting way to learn more about someone.
1. The Del Vikings – “Come Go With Me”
2. Wicked: Original Broadway Cast – “Wonderful”
3. Dave Matthews Band – “I’ll Back You Up”
4. Pearl Jam – “Better Man”
5. Hall & Oates – “She’s Gone”
6. The Eagles – “Desperado”
7. Green Day – “When I Come Around”
8. Huey Lewis and the News – “Hip to Be Square”
9. Sarah McLachlan – “I Love You”
10. Sugarland – “Stay”
11. Oasis – “Champagne Supernova”
12. Aliso Krauss and Union Station – “When You Say Nothing at All”
13. Staind – “So Far Away”

Anyone who thinks this is interesting can participate.

Great list. I had a bit of a nostalgic laugh when I saw Huey Lewis and the News. Awesome.

I can’t help but think of ‘American Psycho’ whenever I see “Hip to Be Square.” Happy to see such a diverse list.

I think of Joe Montana and Ronnie Lott singing backup. I’ve never seen “American Psycho,” though.
